What:
Angel investment in the capital
region needs a shot in the arm. The connectivity between tech startup
founders and angel/early stage investors is lacking. We’re addressing
that connectivity via startupXLR8R (a weekend hack-a-thon/pitch event) which will happen again in early summer.
At
the same time, we need more angels/early stage investors meeting,
vetting and funding startups together. This is now our key focus in the
Spring.
angelXLR8R will bring together the region’s investors for
the purpose of building a bigger pool of available dollars, and enable
investors to find out about the hottest new tech startups on the block.
Who:
New and veteran Angel/Early Stage investors. Investor invitation requests will be vetted by
iStrategyLabs. Investors who are running startups and seeking investment may not be invited. This is not a pitch event.
